During Tuesday, 51-year old music star Osmond got the winner's mirror ball trophy in his hand at the final of contest ABC's reality program.

Many are expecting that singer and Grammy winner Mya will get trophy. She entered in finale with highest scores among all contestants. In the final of the ninth season of the show, top celebrities remained in the top spot including Kelly Osbourne and Tom Delay former congressman). Kelly, the daughter of Ozzy Ozbourne, was the first to be eliminated while former congressman had to leave the show due to his injury. The winners are decided by the votes from viewers and a combination of scores by judges.

When Osmond asked, he said, "I don't have the physique of a [UFC fighter] Chuck Liddell," Furthermore, he mentions, "I don't have the youth of an [singer] Aaron Carter. But what I do have is experience. And our strategy is simple - dance well."

Osmond will be proud to be the third to be from Utah to win the prestigious competition. Before him, country singer and dancer Juliana Hough was also the winner of fifth season who won the competition with her partner Helio Castronerves, car race driver, and her brother Derek had the seventh season with talk show host and model Brooke Burke.

Marie, Osmond's sister, had also competed in the show and got the third position at the fifth season, two years before. Can you believe it? Donny Osmond was the winner. Simply amazing.
